FUNERAL
.
All that is good is meant to last.
The race of your life,
No regrets to befall.
For thee, await but save the odds of your demise.
.
For friends that ruin your stars to see your sun,
Pulling the heart of likes for loves to emerge,
And for the mighty hands that pulled you when yours was weak,
I posit thanks to them all.
.
Farewell to the old friends as well new,
Farewell to foes alike who stood like they've conquered mortality.
Your smile you passed to bid them goodbye.
.
Tears you demand not,
But our smile.
In our era of trials, your thought will reign in us.
For it gladdens one's heart to feel you are remembered.
.
Alas, its R.I.P for you but peace of rest for us.
You're no more but we are.
Farewell!
.
