Funeral

If I invited you to my funeral Would you come holding a bouquet of roses Would you sing in your head, would you mourn for the crowd Would you tell everyone that you were proud Of all that I've done And everything I destroyed The breakdowns that I had The blood that I bled If this is where I left you Would you carry on without me Would you look for me where I hid Would you love me like you did After the world comes crashing down After everything I say turns to a lie Would you sit by my stone, and refuse to leave Would you sit by my grave, and blame it on me Who cares for the future Who cries for the past Today and now, it's time we fall In the end we end up being nothing at all Stand up now love, cheer for the damned Scream for the broken, cry for the dead Dig me a grave now, dig it deep Write me a lullaby, sing me to sleep
