Funk Is Born

Residing in one’s own waste before birth

We find that conviction is nonexistent without the dirty actions of your natural selves

Residing in a religiously twisted society that delights itself in dressed make-up.

It’s just that. We are dressed to suppress and feel as if that makes-up for all of the crap that we reside in.

Out of eternal darkness. Let there be light

Out of dark matter comes the things that matter

Molded in the dark to shine as a newborn star

Back to dust this star shall return to be formed once again

Shedding light in dark places.

Honesty is not popular yet it is always respected.

Giving a needed prospective I find myself isolated in my expansion.

The expansion of my energy current places me on a frequency only a few seem to identify

Relative yet not able to relate

Most just run-in place; govern by the pace of our societal treadmill

I reside in grace, treading new mental space that’s institutionally not to be categorized.

Un-marginalized reasoning and contribution of thought removes the contradictive actions of self.

Imperfection perfectly none perfected delivers one into acceptance.

Struggle is tolerable when purposely positioned

Targeted liberation from stifling systematic concerns.

I am no longer the oppressed nor am I the oppressor

I am simply the embodiment of consciousness.

Birth to Earth 10/13 whole Ced. with one half of a father. Gifted to live off the lands of Mississippi. This country boy expanded his base. All the blessings I needed were under my feet. I needed only to move them. So I did; From college to corporate; through 10 + years of marriage. I give what I hope to receive. Respect, Peace, and creative Love.
