Funny

It’s funny to think things very unfunny

Since funny is all things can be.

Seriousness is perhaps

The most funny thing to me.

You might leave your lips un-curled,

Your eyelids may sag unamused,

But a face that says deadpan is not a real joke

Would be a face sorely abused.

Life is a laugh: this I believe

To be an idea most charming.

Death is just silence, which highlights the laughter;

Fearing it is what is harming.

Yes, things are funny, at least that’s my view

Because what is a laugh but a spark?

Things are so funny and that is the reason

Why we all laugh the most in the dark.
