Spinning in circles,

singing and crying,

it dips into cool, dark depths,

then skims the surface lightly,

dancing but afraid, for weeks.

Tired and tattered,

then bold and hardy,

within it the universe falls apart,

then puts itself together again.

Such a funny little thing,

the mind.
