Funny to Think

Funny to think How together These lines, these curves Record the thoughts Of one so wise Brain waves long gone But never lost. Great influence In written word. For it was though These lines, these curves That the wisdom Of Robert Frost Could become mine. He shared with me Through poetry His ideas Lessons learned As a single Traveler On life’s many roads. He shared with me His great courage That I might see “two roads diverge” And have the strength To choose the one “less travelled by.” It is through words Etched long ago That within me I did indeed Find the courage To travel down My own life path.
