Fur Of The Wolf

Look in to your heart of hearts,

look deep inside and then know,

that while I may wear the skin of a human,

I tell you this, soon I will show:

I can obey the Law of the Jungle,

and I can grow the fur of a wolf.

I can learn to hunt in the night,

to trust, obey and to serve.

I can lay down my life for yours,

with tooth, claw and fur learn to fight.

I can become a true warrior,

and stand up strong in the light.

I can drink deeply

from the well of truth that you bring,

and I can learn well the wisdom you pass,

to never again step in-between.

When blood is spilt in battle,

and all come to share of the kill,

I can know that the pack must come first,

and die if I do not follow your will.

Look in to your heart of hearts,

look deep inside and then know,

that I am growing the fur of a wolf,

because of the love and the trust that you show.
