futile devices (7/5/20)

it is impossible for me to put my love for you into words,

but i will always continue to try.

would adjectives be accurate?

maybe endless,

passionate,

intimate.

none of these seem to capture my feelings for you.

perhaps verbs would be sufficient?

possibly blazing,

accepting,

all-consuming.

still, nothing seems right.

until i find the perfect expression,

i will go on staring into the deep brown depths of your beautiful eyes, with one attribute of my love for you always in my mind:

infinite.
