In the future

It’s all so hard when you’re young and growing

You see your dreams so far ahead

You go a little further just to change your mind

And then find that what you want is gone

You stay hopeful and push on

But still feel empty inside at night in bed

Your dreams start to cross paths and change

You get confused and unsure again

The time comes where you have to make a decision

Then you’re nervous when things have to change

Though they change its good to remember

This is life and it’s not supposed to be perfect
