The Future Awaits

I'm just any old person,

My idea will never be as good as the idea of that guy.

You don't seem to realize what you're doing,

When you reject your idea and stay in limbo by eating that pie.

You bury them in the recesses of your mind,

Those original ideas in your head.

Thinking to yourself that you're too tired to bother,

and then goes off to bed.

You and I think it's a great idea but you tell yourself,

That someone probably thought up something much better.

The reality of the situation is that you should be writing your ideas down in a letter,

So that you may begin to plot out your future plans.

Yet you instead set aside your ideas and leave them to die,

Opting to instead sit down and play some Clash of Clans.

You can change what the future holds,

Yet you keep wasting your potential.

You have the ability to surpass the Father of Nintendo,

Your abilities could be monumental.

You could very well even be the next Walt Disney,

But you give up before you even try.

I would like for you to know,

That your idea is too good for me to let your actions fly.

Your idea has the potential to be so good that it could change the course of history,

If you'd quit leaving your ideas on the side of the road like a possum.

Do what the Dead Poet's Society did and seize the day,

Because you know deep down in your heart that I'm right when I say you and your ideas are awesome.
