The Future is Female

Kind words are misleading,

A fistful of sand,

Thrown into our vision,

So we won’t understand,

That the gaps are wide open,

The bridges are scarce,

If I am a woman,

Somehow I am less,

You talk about freedom,

But lock all the gates,

You say hey were equal,

But then give some less,

Cause you can’t feel a whip,

Till it lands on your back,

The water won’t choke you

When they are under your head,

The strong misuse power,

Then turn weak and regret,

We should have no excuses,

There’s no reason to wait,

So call from the towers,

Renounce the old ways,

Let go of the boundries,

They put in your brain,

This fight is not over,

Though it’s nearing an end,

This is your time,

Make a stand,
