The Future is Here.

I feel scared.

The future seems bright,

But the daunting unknown evokes a feeling I don’t want.

The moment she said those words I knew it was time.

All those years of second guessing, the pit growing

I got my answer.

My thoughts were valid.

I wish I was conscious back then.

But I’m here, and I know how to move forward.

My anxiety seems a curse but I gained the power to control it.

The future's still bright and I can take a step into it.

I wrote this about my anxiety struggle as a child, and how I have grown to live with, and handle it.
