Future Intent Understanding

My teacher said

Life starts at twenty-one

So that means my book

Hasn’t even begun yet

But now my prologue is at its edge

College will be my first chapter

Where the protagonist is tossed

Through plot after plot

Hopefully my character is dynamic

Because I wish to grow

And grow

And

Grow

Till I can see the distant epilogue

Smiling at the college prose

The days when I became an adult
