Future Me

Dear Future Me,

I wonder who you will be.

Will you have a family,

or many friends?

Will you be lonely?

Maybe you'll have children,

One, Two or Three.

I wonder all these many things

as I think of future me.

Will you live far or close to home?

Would anyone remember you

when you're gone?

Late at night I ponder,

I think of all these things.

Most of all I wonder,

"Who is future me?"
