The Future is Ours

And so the end draws near- we have our lasts, we say our goodbyes. Tasting the unfamiliarity in our future, feeling for the path with our hands our minds but not our eyes. For we know that the past cannot be changed and the present- we must now own because it is the only road to the future and our only way to sense what’s next. So we live in the moment: we strive for our best we love deeply those around us. And our controversies, we leave unattended. Because although our energy is great, it is not infinite. We save it for those battles worth fighting. For now, we hold our poise we say our goodbyes and we dive off the cliff with anxious butterflies but courage much louder. The future is ours, and we will not disappoint.
