Futuristic Dreamland

People used to ask me,

"What do you want to do when you get older?"

I never knew.

As a matter of fact, I just found out.

Films.

I want to work behind the scenes and help create a masterpiece that will forever be remembered.

I have conjured such a big dream for myself that I'm scared I'll get lost on the way up.

The path to success is so long and so intimidating.

I question myself.

"How will I ever get enough money to support this dream of mine?"

"How long will it take to get to this dreamland?"

"Will I have to move to California?"

"Will my anxiety get the best of me?"

My mind spirals out of control.

But when I think of this passion as a whole, I become giddy and in love.

I can do it.

I can get there.

As long as I have my head screwed on and enough determination,

I will get there.

Someday my name will show up on the credits of a movie.

Someday I will be on a movie set and close my eyes.

And I will, in that moment, be satisfied.

I will, in that moment,

Have made my dream a reality
