Why were you so immature about it?
I hate that you always linger in my mind,
As I doze off and my thoughts flow through time.
I don’t want you back,
nor do I want to rewind;
Only time has shown what was meant to be.
But why do I want you when you despise me?
Is it crazy of me to say that I miss you?
Or did I simply believe our love was true?
Just reach out I promise I will be here.
I feel it in my heart when you drop a tear.
I yearned for you so much
Not for lust or sexual touch,
But for your warm laughter and your sweet face.
I thought this wasn't a competition or a race.
I thought you liked me, or wanted me at least,
But you heard my feelings and thought they were "cap."
