Galaxies In Your Eyes

I found you whispering to the moon,

Delicately telling her stories

As you sat there in her soft glow.

In your stories you told

Of how stars fall in love

And the way they will dance with one another.

I saw star dust fall around you,

Engulfing you in their beauty and gleam

As you turned to look at me.

In your eyes danced thousands of galaxies

That shone brighter the moment you saw me;

I'd never seen anything so beautiful.

You pulled me into your arms

And we danced to the hum of the moon,

Following the footsteps of the galaxies in your eyes.
