The Gallows

Knot and ropes
Tied in a noose today
And at half past noon
My life will go away

Walking down the path
Armed guards on either side
Walking to my doom
The law I did not abide

On the wooden floor
The rope in front of me
It's inviting, enticing
Almost- laughingly
