Galvanize Things

The screams of venom

Shot between ones I love

The ones that created us

Oozed like blood out of a scar

Bounced off the walls like a dodgeball

These are the things that inspire me

The California sunshine kissing my face

The Fontana winds that grab my hair

The waves of the ocean crashing in the west

The moment when the earth quivers

And the trees like gymnast that bend

These are the things that inspire me

The tears of the clouds on my windshield

The pitter-patter sound it makes

The solemness that overcomes my face

The depressing mood the overcasts takes

And the wet,  sloshing sound of my tires

These are the things that inspire me

Different peoples points of view

The way one of them smiles

A bounce in one of their walks

How she looks down as she talks

The entrancing gleaming look in his eyes

These are the things that inspire me

The moving pictures on the screen

The characters just being

The vibrations through the seats

The tears that roll down my cheeks

And the connection I feel to them.

These are the things that inspire me

So I begin to type

I begin to write

So I begin to film

I begin to edit

So I begin to practice

I begin to perform

Because of the different ways

Of everyone’s world

Puts me in a daze

The screams of venom

The trees like gymnast that bend

The tears of the clouds on my windshield

The moving pictures on the screen

Are just some of the things that inspire me.
