Poems are a challenge

Not everyone can rhyme or define that deeper meaning inside.

Not everyone can write.

But everyone has an appreciation for words.

Without words we'd be lost

And yet, with many words many still feel unfound.

Poems are a way to feel found

A way to feel heard.

You can write simply, elegantly, confusingly 

Nonetheless, no matter the reader, they'll feel something.

When words rhyme or sound confusing, people take them to have more meaning

When words are simple people take them to have more meaning.

People tend to overthink when the answer in right in front of them.

Poems are timeless

They are organic with no defining quality.

Open- endedness is what keeps the world going

It keeps minds moving 

It allows you to think beyond what we know, beyond what we see.

It allows us to see things in a new light

Find things we didn't expect find, feel things we didn't expect to feel

Poems help us define what's inside.
