the game of life

long ago, once upon a time

without a worry in the world

I knew life would be just fine

as I grew and as I learned

all of a sudden I had more concerns

that really scared me at first

as it took breaking to the core

to realize growing was not a curse

we are all in the same boat

be nice to people, to stay afloat

life will become fun

as long as your positive and kind

your soul will shine like the sun
