Game of Poker

I feel hurt and pain,

after I found out the truth today

You never kept it real.

There was no truth to you

and all I ever knew were lies,

Lies you told me

and now I'm taken by surprise.

What we had felt like a movie

but in the end,

you just wanted to do me.

I should've listened to everybody,

could've been more cautious,

But now I can't undo what I did.

I thought I knew the whole story

But I only knew what you had told me

And now I keep thinking to myself

How is it that I never caught you slippin'

You were good at what you did

And you played with my heart to the fullest

I bet you were good at poker

Cus when it came to my heart,

you sure did gamble a bit.

I wanna be great. I know that I am, but not everyone else in the world has witnessed it yet. People just know that greater is coming.
