Game To Win

Staring into a face I don't know
I am becoming my only foe
Standing in the mirror not liking what I see
Can somebody tell me if this is really me?

I'm doing things i normally won't do
I'm not the same girl that you knew
Who I was before is now all history
My past will always remain a mystery

You wouldn't understand my childhood
I've been misunderstood
And I've been pushed around
Til I fell to the ground in this pathetic excuse for a town

Today I'm starting brand new
I'll find ways to make it through
I'm never going to give in
I'm playing with life and I've got a game to win
