Gap

I was once an ugly black girl with a big gap

I was once an ugly black girl who didn't like to smile

I was once ridiculed because none of the mean kids would respect my gap

I became older I started to respect my gap

I now know that God made me unique and I'm proud to show off my gap.

My gap in between my teeth makes me who I am

My gap is as wide as the the space between the earth and the sun

My gap is as beautiful as a blooming rose on a spring day

My gap defines me
