To The Garden

its 3 pm they're at it again

arguing

looking out the window deciding if i should go

a plate flies across the room connect with the wall

scattered across the floor

shes screaming how much she hates him

hes mumbling the regret of marrying her

screaming the need to be her

pacing the room to calm down

should i stop this mess?

everyone doesn't care no more

the boy in his room watching videos for those age 18 and older

the girl playing alone outside with those old doll

a hot breeze comes through the crack of the window

my left foot is out the door

i can hear them saying how much they love each other

" i love you" back and forth

know full well that tomorrow it will happen once again

its 5 pm

I'm out of the room, building,

area

in to the golden garden

with the bright sun still up

into the garden

with the flowers up high and the vegetables coming
