The Garden

In this garden, there are all different kinds,

See the difference between them,

But only one catches the eye.

Scissors preserve the beauty,

For all to see where this flower belongs.

In the vase for display,

days on end this flower stands.

A petal falls

In this garden, there are all different kinds,

See the difference between them,

But only one catches the eye.

Scissors preserve the beauty,

from the mistake that was made.

A petal falls

In this garden, there are all different kinds,

See the difference between them,

But only one catches the eye.

Scissors preserve the beauty,

the vase in shatters.

In this garden, there are all different kinds,

See the difference between them,

But only one catches the eye,

The flower lays in dismay,

To see another taking the place,

In that pretty new vase.

The flower can do nothing,

With no hands or feet

The flower meets defeat

Because

In this garden, there are all different kinds,

See the difference between them,

But only one catches the eye.

The flower preserves their own beauty.
