Garden Of Life

I hope you found what you were looking for. Is there happiness out there? Does the sun shine bright, do you use your hands to shade yourself from the light? The grass is not green anymore, this isn’t the other side. Ever since you’ve been gone the flowers in the garden of life have wilted, drooped over and dead. It only took one shot, straight to the head. The words that I said didn’t seem to come out right, the dreams that I had, woke me up in the middle of the night.

My favorite part about this poem was when I talk about my dreams. My dreams really have been affecting my sleep. The better the dream, the more I sleep. The worse of the dreams I get less sleep.
