Garden of promises
Truth be told the flowers wilted in our garden stay on display
Cant take them away
And if youdve asked id probably tell you just what didn’t happen
I have moved on from our scent of life
And I hope that you find someone else to make you satisfied
And in my heart I promise lots of things
But I promise I’ll miss you
Forever ago we were inseparable
Only once in a lifetime love
And they always say that to make it feel nice
But once just means it was only one time
And that time is over now
So I’ll lie to myself deep down
I have moved on from our scent of life
And I hope that you find someone else to make you satisfied
And in my heart I promise lots of things
But I promise I’ll miss you
I’ll miss you
Like the petals that fell
And I clung to false hope
Hoping youd pull the rope
And I wanted
A place to be
Some stability
Not hotels in dodgy places
Where u kept me hidden all day
So I had to walk away
And just tell myself
I have moved on from our scent of life
And I hope that you find someone else to make you satisfied
And in my heart I promise lots of things
But I promise I’ll miss you
