Gardening

I was searching so long

For the words I promised you

But when I finally found what I had to say

It was already too late

I’d lost your eyes gaze

Medusa’s known for

Turning men to stone

Those eyes...

Will always be my kryptonite

I never really knew

What to say you

That didn’t make me sound

Like some joker-clown

Oh dear,

I found the words

In a shattered heart:

You brought a light

To a world so dark

You brought a light

To a world so dark

I’m living with a thorny thought

The flowers say she loves me not

Pick the petals all away

Till the garden’s like my dreams

Not sure what ya mean but I'm not very good at writing if that's what you're getting at. Thanks for the comment
