Gateways

I can't write you letters I can't hug you good-bye I can't even see you, When I cry I'm forgetting how you look I'm forgetting how you dress I'm forgetting how you'd hug me, And make my hair a mess I'm forgetting that twinkle in your eyes, And that smile on your lips I forget your sence of humor, And forgetting makes me sick My memories, Reduced to pictures My timing is too late Your old feet have already crossed, That blindingly gold gate
