Gay
Faggot, dyke, homo, queer
You’re a sponge to the names
That are used to defame
And instill self-destructive fear
Hide from these words you hear
Natural state, the source of your shame
The core of you, for which they take aim
Breaking apart with lukewarm tears
Why don’t they try and change their skin?
Belong to a world that doesn’t want them
Understand predisposition
And live where your soul has been
Different is what they condemn,
Dangerous in this world we live in.
