Gaze
How I love to be with you
The days we spend in class together bring light to my day
The cold morning bus rides
Not so cold near your side
Grazing at lunch
Sitting in close view
I steal glimpses of the back of your hair in class
You don't turn around
You don't know I'm watching
You don't know I'm there
I'm a spectator
Imagining a life I'll never have
It's a love from afar
But I love it like it's real
