GENERATION ME

Is the wolf or sheep to blame? Or both, in this show of shame The wolf who tells the sweetest lie Buys the naive's trust The sheep feigns angel or well-nigh Even the wild wolf bite the dust 'Keep the wolf from the door' Is the duo's weltanschauung No naive get in on the ground floor The duo -- wolves in sheep's clothing The land's wealth wells Is your families' For it's dead, your inner judge And you are your king and judge Hello Mr noble country man! And you who has this clime to man Is the poor or naive to blame? Or both, in this show of shame They shiver at the wolf's bark And in the sheep's lie, bask Flash your teeth at all hypocrisy Be fooled by fake democracy The wheel of fortune will change And their statuses will change The wolf shall eat straw And naive, red in tooth and claw The dice shall surely be cast Then he who laughed last, laughs best Will it ever end? --- me first.
