The Generation of Mine

My generations mind is in an “easy life mode”

When reality is, education and dedication is the right road

While we try to find the easiest teachers and tests

It’s not truly showing our capability of being the best

We stress and fight for classes that are so hard to get into

Yet, we text throughout the class expecting the A just fall through

We don’t take advantage of the knowledge that is thrown to us

Instead we’d rather see who’s retweeted on what we’ve discussed

We complain about the amount that the schools request

But what difference does it make if we plan to cheat on the test

My generation strives on living life on the easy road

But the reality will show and they wont like the life they behold
