the generation that is usare
the generation that is us
are more concerned with their twitter feed
than the millions of people dying from hunger because they have nothing to be fed.
more concerned that no one sees them walking with 'that whale from 2nd period'
than the whales that are suffering and dying in captivity
they are more concerned with who thinks they're Hot or Not
than the fact that our earth is getting pretty warm
they care more about losing an instagram follower
than the loss of an entire species that's going extinct
more concerned with themselves
than anybody else.
but the generation that could be us
could help end world hunger
could help free the whales
could treat and prevent global warming
could save endangered species
this is the generation that could be us
