Generations past

Life is brief. Many have gone before, Cut off like wheat's sheaf. One never knows what may soon be in store But one thing must never be forgot With pearl of great price, we HAVE been bought We owe our courage, life, and faith to generations past Many have given ALL they had to give Seldom and few there be that TRULY last And even fewer ever show what it means to truly LIVE Many saints may come through our lives Many struggles may show as well None exemplifies better, though, what truly drives Than to stand and fight clear through hell One question remains, though As we remember all those saints gone ahead And as we struggle through life, blow by blow... How will we, in faith and courage, be lead?
