Generic sympathy

I always feel like a burden whenever I vent No one really wants to hear what's wrong It's just the generic thing people say So as to not sound heartless or insensitive on subjects too touchy too fragile to even understand. The way I see it- My problems are my own baggage. My worries are the dark circles under my eyes and the stress lines on my forehead from frowning too often. My thoughts make patterns along the inner crevices of my skull as though they were tattooing hidden meanings of every word, every sentence that was said to me in a single day. The insecurities I bury under false confidence and carelessness burrows themselves into the cracks of the reflection I've shattered a long time ago. This cracked personality you see infront of you has been pieced back together to form yours truly And it has seen so many fruitless days of smiles and laughter to whom on the outside would think that I am HAPPY But residing in each crack is a canyon so deep and so dark it envelops everything it touches and crushes it with it's anxious grasp Yes - I know. there are those who know and who understand the inner turmoil of socializing and being drained of any desire to participate And be part of But to understand and to know Don't matter if they don't care. And no one does.
