Genesis
In March
Night exceeds day
So when people search for light
They see nothing but the world
Consumed by darkness.
Too much darkness
For a normal person.
But hunters are not normal people.
They welcome darkness, and anything in it.
Jet-black shadows.
The perfect place to hide.
People fear the unknown. Especially in the dark.
But of course, none of this is true.
The shadows are everywhere.
In a house.
In her bedroom.
A sleeping beauty dreams about
Saving people, hunting things,
Things that do not exist in the real world.
Because, of course, none of this is real.
She wakes up from her dream
Just to make it through another day in reality.
She dreams of being a hunter
With the Winchesters by her side,
Traveling the country in the 1967 Chevy Impala
Searching for a new job, a new hunt.
This girl is able to withstand the horrors of reality
Because she knows that her favorite show
Supernatural
Will not come to an end.
She looks forward to pretending
That Dean and Sam are with her on a job,
Saving people, hunting things,
And she knows that she has nothing to fear
In the shadows
For another year, another season
Because she can pretend.
But of course, it is only a dream.
We create our own demons.
The most feared stop people
From being themselves.
They fear the shadows.
