The Genesis of a Restored Epoch
Such a short time, yet so long it seems.
Blind… still the end vivid and within reach in recurring dreams.
Once a clear outlook abruptly turned to blurred chaos.
Past wins digressed and transformed into a loss.
The lights, fighting to keep shining, flickered for a while.
Companions’ eyes became glaring eyes of vile.
Darkness weighed down and the world became colder.
Searching for a way out, but progressing behind me, one huge boulder.
Seeking for even a shimmer of light,
Fixated no longer on the negative realities, rather the big picture now in sight.
Gripping the camera, the aperture expanded and uncovered was a new world, a fresh beginning.
Isolated and trapped, the chaos began to silence, now I was winning.
Life is not simply given, rather it is granted.
A change at heart has been transplanted.
Once a hardship but now a significant part of the enduring story.
Now understanding being free is all an allegory.
The troubles faced on Earth vanish from the promising rays shining down from above.
Looking at the world, eyes stout with love.
Thankful for every breath of air taken,
A new world formed from a world once shaken.
