a genre of love

do you find my presence in the music you hear,

the sceneries you discover,

the sunlight so brightly shining through your windows

or the scent the rain leaves on the ground,

with the pretty sunsets, the long, hurtful nights,

the smiles, and all the little things we find?

do you think you could ever be

some-sort-of-genre in love with me

do you think the sky could determine our future’s might,

would you believe if i told you that

all are better days that we spend together?

and if you believe it’s fair of me to ask,

do you think it’s safe for us to dream now?
