Gentle Facade

It's a facade to put on that Gentleman
How can I
On my side I don't live on tea and biscuits
Nor do i play Polo and go Horse Riding

It's a facade to put on that Gentleman
How can I
On my side i grew up with guns a blazing
Maiming Pillaging was the daily order

It's a facade to put on that Gentleman
How can I
On my side life is hard with the elders
Dredging into my future stock

It's a facade to put on that Gentleman
How can I
On my side I am judged not on character
But general variables with negating concepts

It's a facade to put on that Gentleman
How can I
On my side I am misunderstood
Not for lack of constructive input
Just because I am perceived as anti status quo

It's a facade to put on that Gentleman
How can I
On my side a mile in my shoe is rocky
Yet factors taken are chosen to fit a narrative

It's a facade to put on that Gentleman
How can I
On my side few can tolerate my insight
Prefer to follow norms as blind sheep

It's a facade to put on that Gentleman
How can I
When i live in a rough neck cutthroat world
So do i do you or do i do me??
Don't answer
Its rhetorical
