Gentleman By Katie Zehr When I first met you I honestly wasn`t sure what to think of you In fact I didn`t really know you except the fact we go to the same school Once a couple semesters went by I got used to saying hi and a short chat with you felt right We worked in the same office, which is something we finally had in common Soon it was time for me to graduate, I was thinking to myself what pictures needed to be taken I knew me and another friend wanted one with you I know this was something that made me feel happy to do Now it became to be summer, when we started to get to know each other better I keep wondering what will come to be We both get along so well it seems Talking to you is so easy, when I get a text from you It makes me day You’re not like most boys which to me is quite a joy You are a special kind of guy that has caught my eye There is something about you that has me amazed You are a gentleman and that’s the way it should be Maybe someday we will come to be But for now you are a gentleman to me.
