gentlest strength

the sweetest Man i have ever known

called me by name and called me His own.

the gentlest strength from the highest place

reached to my lowest brokenness with His grace.

He left an imprint of His most pained Face,

filled with utmost Love for my sinful case.

I am a girl who has felt an inexplicable draw to poetry for 17 years, but unfortunately did not think herself capable of chasing her dream of being a poet. Now she knows better, and is practicing her writing every day in the attempts to hone her craft and do what excites her.
