Gently place your foot upon

Location

Gently place your foot upon the road, the simple start of every journey.

Little do you know, that this road is me,

I will bring you to where you need to be,

I can be your road.

Use caution when crossing my stone, I am not a path you can tread swiftly.

Your shoes will wear with every stride,

Like emerald waves broken by the tide,

I can be your road.

In blankets of darkness and in the sun, I am that long road you travel on.

Does this conclude our journey my friend?

Have you finally reached that bitter end?

I can be your road.

But, be carful...

I have split into two,  so please choose wisely,

that next road you take, may not be as kind as me.
