genuine

another year, another start

another teacher, but that's not what you are

you're so much more than i would've ever thought

so much so that i could've ever wanted

beginning with hilarity and humility

molding into a figure to strive for, to impress

you made me want more for myself,

you made me feel like i was worth something

that all the potential that i thought was lost, was actually there

that i could make myself into something that wasn't regret and dread and despair

becuase i AM more than just my thoughts and my insecurities

you are the guiding light and voice that i needed to be who i really will be
