Genuine Gratitude
Thanks must come within
It cannot be beaten into the head
with a dishtowel having the
words have gratitude sown
into it
Thanks comes with
remembering the place
of God in the human
experience.
That we aren't, no matter
how far we may seem,
insignificant and meaningless
gatherings of matter.
That humanity predates us.
