Genuinity
And don't take me out to eat,
as you say it's your treat.
As you probably say that to every single girl you meet.
All you'll be feeding me is lies..
I don't know if you can tell,
But I've always been independent,
And it don't make sense,
To be with someone who isn't Genuine.
Goddamn where is all the gentlemen?
It's like they all love to play games,
And yet I'm always the one who ends up feeling ashamed...
And no I won't blame it on my past,
But for my past 2 relationships,
I ended up diving off a sinking ship,
For the Genuinity was not read by your lips.
And your heart was contradictive,
And you always made me suspicious,
Of your morals and judgement.
And your abuse for me didn't lack substance.
So what would you think when,
Someone tries to tell you that they are different.
They must not know my brilliance,
For evaluating the substance.
And the value of what men say.
When all I've been around is contradicting, self-inflicting, and you think that I'm kidding...
Or maybe it's a phase.
Or maybe it's because she is just underage.
But no, you can take those factors out of the equation.
Just like I did with you.
Because you can never be with anybody who's heart isn't true...
