German Eyes
Awake,
My breath slows and my palms chill to the breeze
Direction of his arms are curious
For I know not what is in store
A slight peck, or a ghastly getaway?
Eyes are closed to relieve the tension
My hair waves at the incoming presence
He tames it with his touch
The Gaze could have been deadly
If it weren't for the sweet spirit
Closer, and closer...
I awake suddenly, gasping for air
It was only a dream,
But who was I to be spared?
