To Get Away
The writing takes me away,
To a different world.
A world that is bright
And colorful
And filled with numerous exciting
Adventures.
It takes me away to a
Planet different from earth,
Where I can go and be myself
Without judgement
And malice.
I write to escape my life,
To enter a new and unknown
Yet comfortable place,
If only for a little while
It works.
